King Kong Glue (King Glue) — Strain Review & Where to Buy in Canada
King Kong Glue
Everyone calls it King Glue. It’s a Gorilla Glue cross that hits like an indica but talks like a sativa — and it’s one of the most-searched strains we stock.
The short version
Body-heavy relaxation with a bright, chatty head on top. Sour citrus nose, purple-flecked neon-green buds, trichomes for days. Good for evenings that still involve other people. Grab some here — $70, in stock.
King Glue or King Kong Glue?
Both. Same flower. The full name is King Kong Glue, but almost nobody says the middle word — so if you searched “king glue strain” and landed here, you’re in the right place.
The confusion is fair enough. There’s a whole family of Glue strains out there and the names blur together fast. King Kong Glue is its own thing, and the genetics are what set it apart.
What’s actually in it
King Kong Glue was bred by crossing Gorilla Glue, White Widow and BB Cheese Reversed. That’s three heavyweight parents doing three different jobs.
Gorilla Glue brings the resin and the sedative weight — we carry it as live resin if you want to taste that side on its own. White Widow contributes the sharp, cerebral lift it’s been famous for since the nineties. BB Cheese Reversed rounds out the funk in the nose — that sour, slightly savoury edge underneath the citrus.
The result is an indica-dominant hybrid at roughly 75/25. On paper that reads as a couch strain. In practice it isn’t, and that’s the whole appeal.
What it looks like
It earns the name honestly. The buds are coated in thick, sticky, silver trichomes — enough that they catch the light before you’ve properly looked at them. Underneath, the flower runs a light, almost neon green, broken up by patches of deep purple and a mass of curling amber hairs.
It’s a genuinely good-looking flower. If you’re the kind of person who takes a photo before grinding, this one’s for you.
How it smells and tastes
Sour first, citrus underneath. That comes from the terpene profile — caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene doing the heavy lifting.
Caryophyllene is the peppery, spicy note — the same terpene you get in black pepper and cloves. Limonene is the bright citrus lift. Myrcene is the earthy, slightly herbal base that most classic indicas lean on, and it’s a big part of why the body effects land as hard as they do.
What it actually does
Full-body relaxation, the kind you’d expect from an indica of this weight. But it arrives with a cerebral buzz most people associate with sativas, and it doesn’t flatten you.
People reach for King Glue as a social strain. It loosens conversation, tends toward creativity, and has a well-earned reputation for causing fits of giggles. The effects are long-lasting — this is not a twenty-minute flower.
Who should probably skip it
If you want to be unconscious in forty minutes, this isn’t the one — the head buzz will keep you going longer than you planned. If you’re sensitive to THC or new to it, 20% with a sativa-leaning lift can be a lot; start smaller than you think you need.
And if you dislike sour, funky noses, the BB Cheese in the genetics is going to be a problem. It’s not a subtle flower.

Questions people actually ask
Is King Glue the same as Gorilla Glue?
No — but they’re related. Gorilla Glue is one of King Kong Glue’s three parents, alongside White Widow and BB Cheese Reversed. King Glue is lighter and more social; GG4 is heavier and more sedating.
Is King Glue indica or sativa?
Indica-dominant, around 75/25. It gives you the body relaxation of an indica with a cerebral lift that most people associate with sativas.
How strong is it?
THC averages around 20%. That’s solidly potent without being a specialist strain. If you’re new to it, start with less than you think you need — the effects are long-lasting.
What does it taste like?
Sour and citrus-forward with an earthy, peppery base, from a terpene profile led by caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene. There’s a funky edge underneath from the BB Cheese genetics.
How fast will it arrive?
