Buy Weed Online in New Brunswick
New Brunswick lets you grow at home — but only if you lock it up. Here is what applies where you live, and how we deliver across the province.
The rules in New Brunswick
Cannabis is federally legal, but provinces set the conditions. New Brunswick attached a requirement to home growing that no other province words quite the same way.
Four plants — locked up or fenced in
New Brunswick permits the federal four plants per household, but they must be secured: kept in a locked indoor space, or outdoors within a locked enclosure at least 1.52 metres high. Most provinces simply cap the number. New Brunswick also expects cannabis in the home to be stored in a locked container or locked room where it is not accessible to children.
You have to be 19
The minimum age is 19, in line with most of Canada. Alberta is the only province lower at 18; Quebec is the only one higher at 21.
You can carry 30 grams in public
The 30 gram public possession limit for dried cannabis is federal and the same everywhere in Canada.
Where you can use it
New Brunswick is restrictive: consumption is limited to a private residence or on the grounds of one. It is not permitted in public places generally, which is a tighter line than Ontario draws.
Who is allowed to sell it
New Brunswick runs a government retail monopoly through Cannabis NB. There is no private cannabis retail here — the opposite of Newfoundland next door, which went private from the start.
Free shipping on New Brunswick orders over $120. Everything ships vacuum-sealed and odour-proof in a plain, unmarked mailer.
What we would put in a New Brunswick order
Six picks, weighted toward hash and concentrates — the part of our shelf that is hardest to match locally.

Hash, already rolled. From $8 it is the least committal way into concentrates. Read the guide.

Questions New Brunswick customers ask
Can I grow cannabis at home in New Brunswick?
Yes, up to four plants per household — but they must be secured: in a locked indoor space, or outdoors inside a locked enclosure at least 1.52 metres high. New Brunswick also expects cannabis in the home to be kept in a locked container or room, out of reach of children.
What is the legal age to buy cannabis in New Brunswick?
19, the same as most of Canada. Alberta is the only province lower at 18, and Quebec the only one higher at 21.
Who sells cannabis legally in New Brunswick?
Cannabis NB, the provincial government retailer. There is no private cannabis retail in the province — unlike Newfoundland next door, which licensed private shops from the start.
Where can I legally consume it?
In a private residence or on its grounds. New Brunswick does not permit consumption in public places generally, which is stricter than Ontario.
How much can I carry in public?
30 grams of dried cannabis or the equivalent. That limit is federal and identical in every province.
What kind of hash do you carry?
Moroccan and Red Lebanese pressed hash, live rosin, and ready-rolled hash joints from $8. There is more on that shelf than most local options carry — see our guide to hash and concentrates.
Do you ship to Moncton and Fredericton?
Yes — along with Saint John, Dieppe, Miramichi, Bathurst, Edmundston and every other New Brunswick address Canada Post serves, including rural routes.
